Why is Resilience Project special to you? Having been on the receiving end of so much support from family and friends, it feels only right to pass it forward.

Describe your favorite pair of socks. A hand knit pair of socks tailored to me by my best friend from art school
Why is Resilience Project special to you? Three years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and I struggled deeply with the loss of control. This project is a way to help others regain that sense of control. It means so much to help people in a way that is close to my heart.
One thing you can't live without: The real answer? Artistic fulfillment. The food answer? Absolutely bread.
Preferred caffeine source: TEA! Yerba Mate or Earl Grey. Jasmine is my favorite green but it’s not overly caffeinated.

Why is Resilience Project special to you? Almost everyone has been directly or indirectly affected by cancer, and I’m no exception. It’s heartening and empowering to work for an organization that gives back to patients, and I love helping our patients tell their stories through words and images.
What actor would play you in your biopic? Michael Cera, hands down
Preferred caffeine source: Direct into my bloodstream. (Iced americano or a cappuccino from the now-closed coffee shop at UNC Chapel Hill’s Student Stores)
