Jake Teitelbaum

Founder, Refractory Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Survivor

During my chemo infusions, I would dream that instead of tearing my body apart, the meds would bring superhuman powers. Based on my tremendously slow running/biking pace, it’s safe to say they haven’t... yet...

Apart from doing anything and everything to move this business forward, I enjoy finding time to appreciate what my body can do and spending time with the people I love.

Andee Wallace, Ph.D.

Co-Owner & Director of Operations

Having a father survive non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), I know first hand how cancer can impact families. Now, I'm excited to be a part of helping Resilience Gives grow, so we can bring our little spark of sunshine to more families like mine.

When I'm not working, I like to get to the tippy top of mountains, rock climb, and plan my next adventure!

Jack O'Connell

Podcast Editor

I am currently a senior at Wake Forest University studying business and creative writing. I am extremely excited to be a part of the Resilience Gives team and provide support to families in need.

In my free time, I enjoy making music, playing basketball, and spending time with my little cousins (as shown above!).

transparency

Resilience Gives (Resilience Project, Inc.) is a for-profit S-corporation whose mission is bigger than the bottom line. We formed as a for-profit organization because we felt it provided the best opportunity to recruit and retain talent, and ultimately achieve our mission. As we work towards this mission, we will be as transparent as possible, and we invite you to learn more about our pricing.

We believe in being transparent about what it costs to make and donate our socks. Please understand that there are many additional costs involved in running a business.

our origins

The idea for Resilience Gives first fell into my lap when I was given my umpteenth pair of boring non-slip hospital socks, but it remained just an idea until my journey with cancer forced me to reconsider what I knew about resilience.
