I wanted these socks to be cute yet playful - just like the name of my blog! By incorporating different shades of pink, breast cancer ribbons and, of course, boobies, these socks are the perfect combo of whimsy and a pleasing design. I'll be rocking them everywhere from my doctors appointments to SoulCycle!

Alex Whitaker

I never thought I’d be diagnosed with cancer and I definitely never thought I’d be diagnosed with breast cancer. And why should I? By all logic (and statistics!) I’m a total anomaly. I’m 25. I have absolutely no family history. I’m healthy and active. But still, here I am.

When I got my diagnosis, I really wasn’t sure I wanted anyone outside of my family and close friends to know. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I had the power to make some good happen out of this. Awareness and early detection are so so important. Know your body, and if something’s off, get it checked out. I literally found my lump by putting on a sticky bra!

All proceeds will benefit BCRF, the leading breast cancer research foundation. You can keep up with my journey on Instagram at @alexxwhiitaker, via the hashtag #WhittysTittyCommittee or on my blog, whittystittycommittee.com.
