Brennan Simkins

Brennan Simkins was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on the even of his 7th birthday. After undergoing chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant from his brother Nat, Brennan relapsed– and was told to pack it up. His relapse happened so quickly after his transplant, the hospital told his parents there were no curative options.

But he and his family refused to give up, and they found St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where he ended up undergoing three more bone marrow transplants. Through it all, his two brothers Nat and Christopher were by his side. One too many war movies in the hospital, and they call themselves the Band of Brothers. Today, Brennan is seven years cancer free.

The Press On Fund is celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by socking out cancer! We are a pediatric cancer research fund with a mission to fund less toxic, more effective therapies for childhood cancer, because our children deserve a chance at life without cancer.

Our families take great joy in knowing that others are wearing their unique designs all around the world. Wear your socks proudly and tag #RGCommunity
